Important: In no case are the 18650 lithium-ion batteries (sometimes Li-ion battery or LIB) at the MPL lights allowed. Lithium-ion batteries can lead to explosion!
Note:
Included in the delivery on the MPL 500 2in1 are AA batteries and on the MPL 1500 2in1 are AA NiMh batteries and charger. All other batteries listed are optional and have to be bought separately at a store near you.
Each light is supplied with light pocket and carabiner.

Technical information for luminaires TillyTec
TillyTec products are designed to be durable to withstand pressures and to a depth of 200 meters. There are no buttons or switches. Since there are no cables to connect or glued fittings to break, the whole system is truly unbreakable.
All lamps are just opening rotating the head lamp, even if you overdo the triple o-ring protects the head from being flooded.
For the diver who travels, our lighting system has the advantage that it can be completely disassembled and packed in bag with diving. The usual brittle lights head lens need not be worn over the hand luggage to protect.
The new feats of lighting systems TillyTec is the new MPL battery packs. The MPL is short for Modular Power Lightsystem (modular Power lamp) and is designed for unlimited combinations. It is now possible to change not only the head of the lamp but also the combinations of batteries gets. The battery can be upgraded by the user in a combination with more capacity (duration) and lighting power....
Replacement batteries can be placed within seconds and is as simple as changing batteries in a simple lens.
Another advantage to the products of TillyTec that can be upgraded and luminaires. Is it possible to upgrade a halogen lamp in LED or an LED low power bulb to another higher power LED.
About the new lithium batteries (LiFe)
That most new technology in lithium batteries:
- loaded very rapidly (within 15 minutes can be charged by 80%)
- can be stored up to 12 months without losing their power
- longer life, about 3-4 times more than the nickel NiMh
