A compromise between a classic mountaineering ice axe and an ice climbing axe, the SUM’TEC is a versatile, lightweight, technical ice axe. It is easy to use in piolet-canne mode with its stainless steel spike and its slightly curved shaft. In piolet-traction, the ALPIX pick (forged into banana shape) and the new TRIGREST hand rest (adjustable without tools) ensure the efficiency required for technical passages, as well as bergschrunds, ice gullies... Available in adze or hammer versions.

When combined with a fall-arrest device, the PROGRESS ADJUST-I adjustable positioning lanyard enables comfortable positioning at a workstation when the user has support for the feet. Thanks to the ADJUST rope adjuster, the length can be quickly and easily adjusted. The CAPTIV ADJUST and STUART accessories help hold the connectors in a good position for easy clipping. Depending on the configuration, it can be used in single or double mode. The PROGRESS ADJUST-I positioning lanyard is available in three lengths (2, 3 and 5 m).

The SUM'TEC ice axe represents versatility: it adapts easily to any mountaineering activity, from classic to technical. It is completely modular, allowing it to be optimized for the objective. The TRIGREST handrest, adjustable without tools, and the compatibility of the ice axe with most Petzl accessories (PUR'ICE and DRY picks, MASSELOTTES...) ensure the efficiency required for difficult sections.

The GRILLON adjustable lanyard is used to make work positioning systems, to complement a fall-arrest system. Its length can be very easily and precisely adjusted as necessary for comfortable positioning at the work station. Depending on the configuration, it can be used in single or double mode. GRILLON is available in two colors and seven lengths (2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 15 and 20 m). It is certified to North American, European and Russian standards.
